About the speakers:

1. Cheng Pei Ling | COO, Koha Digital Holding Sdn Bhd.

Cheng Pei Ling is a Shariah Registered Financial Planner who specializes in wealth management professional consultancy for the past 18 years. She attained magnificent achievements in the life insurance industry international platform by being a Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) awardee.

In 2003, she created a one-stop financial solution centre for the public to provide effective and efficient solutions for wealth and family legacy planning. Her clientele ranges from the Baby Boomer generation all the way to the Millennials generation thus ultimately cultivating a Multi-generational Legacy Planning mindset.

Pei Ling is also Business Director of Big Work Mart Sdn Bhd, a digital platform for Employees Benefits Program Her ultimate goal is to cultivate the public to embrace the responsibilities of building financial security in life, preserve and distributing wealth to their next of kin. Pei Ling then joined Koha Digital in June 2021 as its COO & Director.

2. Ts. Mariatini Othman | Technology Commercialization Expert, Malaysia Technology Development Corporation (MTDC)

Mariatini Othman graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and later earned a Master’s degree in Technology Management from Universiti Malaya (UM). Her work experience ranges from wastewater chemical engineering, R&D in combinatorial analysis, corporate communication, knowledge management, environmental activism and technopreneurship.

Mariatini is also a certified trainer, especially focusing on entrepreneurship, technology transfer and commercialisation. In recognition of her expertise, Mariatini has been appointed as an Industry Expert at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), Adjunct Professor at Universiti Malaysia Tun Hussein Onn (UTHM) and Industry Advisor to Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK). Mariatini has also been certified as a Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) assessor by INCIT of Singapore, and is only one of four accredited assessors in Malaysia.

Mariatini compliments her technical knowledge with a prolific creative edge, being a published writer – for children as well as entrepreneurs – in both Bahasa Melayu and English. She is also an active appreciator of syair readings, poetry recitals and theatrical performances.

3. Dato’ Elaine Teh | Executive Chairman, ETAGreen Group (M) Berhad

Dato’ Elaine is the Executive Chairman of the Etagreen group and Octopus group. She possesses more than three decades of business experience. Founded in 2002, the Octopus group is a leading consumer goods company in Singapore and Malaysia with interests in wholesale, distribution, and retail, distributing products to all major supermarket chains, major hotels and restaurants in Singapore. Group subsidiary Octopus Distribution Networks was awarded the Enterprise 50 award in 2019, which recognizes the 50 most enterprising local, privately held companies that have contributed to the economic development of Singapore, both locally and abroad. 

Dato’ Teh founded the Etagreen group to expand into the industrial sector with the vision of driving sustainability and uplifting the agricultural processing industry. Drawing on her networks, she built the Etagreen group from scratch and turned it into a sustainable biomass energy and agricultural waste management player within a short span of two years. 

Dato’ Teh is also actively involved in the non-profit sector and has held leadership and advisory positions at the Rotary Club of Sentosa, International Women’s Federation of Commerce and Industry in Malaysia, Singapore and Australia, and Honorary Advisory Council for University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney). 

In recognition of her social and community efforts, Dato’ Teh was conferred her Dato ship in 2013, bestowed the Spirit of Enterprise Award in 2019 and Women Entrepreneur Award in 2020. 

Dato’ Teh graduated from UNSW with a double major in Economics and Japanese.

4. Jezzlyn Siu | Founder and Director, Sono Holdings

Jezlyn Siu is the Founder and Director of Sono Holdings, with over 13 years of experience as a sonographer. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Postgraduate qualification in Medical Sonography. As a certified trainer for sonographers and an active advocate for women’s health, Jezlyn has played a pivotal role in empowering women in the medical and tech industries.

Under her leadership, Sono Holdings has expanded rapidly, earning recognition such as the Malaysia Book of Records for operating the largest ultrasound scanning chain in Malaysia. Through her companies, including Sonobee and Dacas College, Jezlyn continues to drive innovation in ultrasound services, training, and healthcare solutions, impacting thousands of customers monthly.

Her commitment to precision, innovation, and providing comprehensive healthcare solutions is at the heart of her entrepreneurial journey.

5. Gina Phan | Founder and Managing Consultant, Zinfinity Consulting

After a successful career in the  software industry , Gina Phan is a learning facilitator who enjoys equipping others by using the PSP (Purpose-Structure-Process) format to encapsulate their learning and skills for them to be confident and successful. She focuses on communication strategies to help people achieve these goals.

Gina started her career as a software developer. During the formative years, she realised that effective communication skills focused on relationship-building are important assets to a professional.  She applied these skills in customer service, product specialisation, sales and marketing, business management, and as a Managing Director of an international software company. Her career path provided a continual process in professional development. Her work today reflects the 30-year experience as an accomplished leader in both corporate and entrepreneurial settings.

Gina aims to empower her training participants to apply solutions based on structured frameworks  so that they can achieve their objectives in sales, negotiations, problem-solving, leadership, presentations, as well as written and verbal business communication.

Gina has presented to corporate leaders, academicians, knowledge managers, and seminar audiences in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Europe and the US.

  1. I used to be a member but my membership has lapsed, Which registration fee should I be paying?
    Answer: Once your membership has expired/lapsed, you will nee to pay the Non-Member registration rate. We encourage you to renew your membership before purchasing the tickets. To do so, please contact dir.membership@ifwcimalaysia.net or any of our committee members.

  2. I am a female and purchased a ticket. What sort of SONO ultrasound scan will I be getting?
    Answer: You will be getting a breast scan on-site. Results will be verbal.

  3. I am a male and purchased a ticket. What sort of SONO ultrasound scan will I be getting and where will it be done?
    Answer: You will be getting a voucher to set an appointment at any of the branches for a fatty liver scan.

  4. When will the ‘early bird’ offer end?
    Answer: The offer for the scan ends when we issue the last of the 50 vouchers. So hurry and book your seat today.

  5. What language will be used during the session?
    Answer: All the sessions will be conducted predominantly in the English language.
