Kudos Edward Macintosh for calling out #genderequality in a male dominated construction industry. Indeed, gradual growth in participation of women in the construction industry has taken place. However, as Edward Macintosh said, there is still a lot more to be done. Undoubtedly, to enhance diversity in the workplace in this very unique industry, we need to possess a high degree of empathy – the ability to put ourselves in the shoes of others to internalize and understand their challenges for us to make informed decisions that are inclusive.
