On March 7th, 2024 we celebrated the International Women’s Day 2024, themed #InspireInclusion with the launch of the Ready4AI&Security Malaysia.
Ready4AI&Security Malaysia is an IWFCIM and Microsoft Philanthropy ASEAN collaborative initiative in upskilling TVET educators and students with futureproof market ready skill in generative AI and cybersecurity.
The Ready4AI&Security initiative covers the end-to-end scope from training to employment. The key impacts will include training 200 TVET educators and 5000 TVET students with generative AI and cybersecurity skills.1,200 students will sit for the Microsoft SC 900 – Microsoft Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals exams with at least 500 of them passing the exams. We will organize career and job matching programs to support at least 300 TVET students to secure jobs in the cybersecurity field.
60 percent of our beneficiaries are women from UniKL, Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi MARA, Institute Kemahiran MARA, polytechnics and Commmunity Colleges under the Jabatan Pendidikan Politeknik dan Kolej Komuniti.
