We are thrilled to introduce the self-paced AI Fluency course, brought to you in collaboration with Microsoft Malaysia as part of the #weaics project. This initiative is designed to empower learners with essential AI knowledge and skills for the future. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Zinfinity Consulting for generously sponsoring the learning management system platform, making this course accessible to all, at no cost.

The AI fluency content is designed to educate individuals on the fundamentals of AI, empowering them to integrate this powerful technology into their everyday lives. It includes 44 bite-sized videos delivered in 6 courses, covering a wide range of AI topics — from its history and basic principles to ethical considerations and global initiatives. A complete section on getting started with Copilot is also part of the content, aimed at teaching individuals to navigate this new technology with ease.
The total duration of all the video lessons is about 2.5 hours.

- AI basics – This course introduces the fundamental concepts of AI, providing an overview of its history, various types, applications, and the distinctions between AI terminologies.
- Generative AI – This course dives into the intricacies of generative AI, demonstrating how it works, and explaining common relatable terms.
- Internet Search and Beyond – This course explores the mechanics of internet search engines, discussing advanced search techniques and the future of search technology. It also highlights how recent developments in AI are reshaping the way we search for information.
- Responsible AI – This course discusses the responsible use of AI technologies, considering aspects such as fairness, transparency, privacy, and accountability. It also covers current issues and strategies that companies are implementing to combat security threats.
- Boost Your Productivity with Copilot – This course provides a guide on how to get started with Copilot, an AI companion. It includes real-life examples of how Copilot can enhance productivity by assisting with tasks such as planning, writing, and more, thereby making work more efficient and effective.
- AI for all – This course discusses how AI is making a global impact, transforming job roles, and leading to greater accessibility. It also highlights how AI is fostering a more inclusive society by breaking down barriers for learners.
Upon completion of each course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion which you can download and also share on social media.

How to register for these courses?
- Visit Zincademy at https://zincademy.acadle.com
- Click on ‘Register‘ to create a new user member account. Fill in the registration form and complete the registration with the code that will be emailed to you. Make sure you register with the name you wish to have on your Certificate of Completion.
- Login to Zincademy and go to ‘Categories‘. Select the category: AI Fluency Pathway by Microsoft – English.
- You will now see the 6 courses in the pathway. Take each course in the order of their numbering.
It is important to read the FAQs section below before you start your learning journey. It will improve your experience in the learning platform.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Is this course really free or will I be billed later?
Answer: Yes, this course is really free. You will not be charged for taking the course nor will you be charged for unlocking your certificate of completion. - Must I complete each course in one sitting?
Answer: No. This is a self-paced course and you can pause at any point and resume where you left off. You may need to login again but the system holds your place in the course. - Must I follow the pathway in a particular order?
Answer: We recommend that you take each course in the order of the course number, i.e. start with Course 1, then proceed in ascending order to end with Course 6. - How is each course structured?
Answer: Each course is made up of short videos lessons (2-6 minutes). Each lesson is followed by a 1-question multiple choice quiz. You need to pass the quiz before you can continue. You have unlimited number of chances to re-take the quizzes. - Where is the ‘Next Lesson’ button?
Answer: The ‘Next Lesson’ button is located below the video frame. Depending on your screen resolution, you may need to scroll down to see it. - Why is there extra time in the video count-down timer after the video ends?
Answer: The count-down timer detects the time you are active on that page. The extra time only means you had navigated to another window/page while the video was playing. You just need to wait for the count-down to complete before you can go to the next lesson. - Is there be close-captioning on the videos?
Answer: Yes. By default, close-captioning is turned off. Please click on the CC button to activate close-captioning. - Will I get a certificate when I complete the course?
Answer: Yes. A certificate of completion will be issued for each course. You can download the certificate, get it by e-mail, and/or share it with friends on social media. Please ensure you register with the name you wish to have on your certificate. - How long will my user membership to Zincademy be valid for?
Answer: Due to limited resources, all memberships will expire after 2 months of inactivity. All learning records will be removed at the same time. We recommend you do not leave any course midway for more than 8 weeks. Please also save your Certificates of Completion.
You will need to register again if you want to take or continue with any of the courses after your membership has expired. - Can I see all the certificates that have been issued to me?
Answer: Yes, you can. Logon to the Zincademy, look at My Account. Then select the Certificates tab. You will see all the certificates you have received. Since your membership will not be retained for long (see item 9 above), please download all the certificates for your own safe-keeping. - Who do I contact if I need help with the system or to report a problem?
Answer: Technical support is not provided for this course. If you would like to report a mistake or other problems, please e-mail to vp.operations@iwfcimalaysia.net
